Today was the Orbital company picnic at Kiwanis park; this was our fourth time going so we have added bright green to our hyper color, purple and red picnic cups. They pretty much had the same activities going on, Rock wall, bounce houses, sand volley ball, face painting/balloon tying, and all you can eat hamburgers, hot dogs and frozen Nestle treats as well. Well they did add a video game trailer this year that we didn't tell Neil about though...

They did the rock wall straight away; last year this is how high Ruth and Neil got:


This year they did much better:







Neil did better if dad climbed next to him but every time he looked down he would say he was done. It was pretty funny. Maybe next year we will be able to ring the bell???






Face painting came next, Grandpa Evans had tripple bypass surgery after a pretty nasty heart attack on Thursday morning. He is stil in the hospital recovering so they got little messages for Grandpa painted with their design of choice and gave him these pictures as a get well soon card.

Im grateful my husband has a job, but especially grateful they provide fun activities for us to do as a family a few times a year. :) Isn't he cute?
