January 21, 2008
Yesterday was Ruth's 100th day of school. She has been so excited waiting for this day, the night before she was all concerned that they weren't going to have school on that day (probably because it was such a big deal, and she thought it was a Holiday or something) then she was wondering if she was going to be in 1st grade from now on. *sigh* we did finally get it all straightened out.

On Sunday night we got home from Grandma and Grandpas house a little late, so Neil (being undoubtedly tired) was trying to score a free ride into the house by fake sleeping. I could not stop laughing at how ridiculous he looked with his mouth open so far.

Oh my gosh your kids are so funny. Ruth's teacher is super creative or has too much energy. I don't remember having all these special occasions in my school days. Certainly not so many great hats. I was did look forward to lunch with the principal for the smart kids. And phonics time was fun. But I didn't get a hat for phonics.
Anyway, did Neil's phony bologny work? That kind of acting deserves to be carried inside. P.S. You are such a good blogger.

No I threatened to tickle him if he didnt stop faking, but ended up giving him a piggy...scrap that, mommy-back-ride in the house. I miss you where the heck are you?
