You know, I always thought it was just something that parents would say in a stereotypical way: "My kid doesn't clean their room, they just scrape it to the corners." I don't remember ever doing it...Ruth never did it, shes like me if I didn't want to clean my room, I just didn't. Neil actually got quite creative while 'scraping toys' in and under things in his room. It probably would have been easier and faster just to throw the them in the toy box! You have to applaud his creativity though.
