<--From left to right this is Carter, Sawyer and Ruth. Carter is my brother Travis son and the Travis giving the lessons is Marcus brother Travis (I usually call him Trav to kind of distinguish them, though sometimes i forget)

Update on Ruth's prayers. She does a perfect blessing on the food complete with "Strength and nourishment our bodies" her evening prayers are so cute, she even gets a high "prayer/scripture voice" Tonight i believe she said 'please may I bless Mickey Mouse' about 4 or 5 times. (getting excited about Disneyland in 2 1/2 weeks.)
We have been doing swim lessons with Uncle Travis E. that she wasn't too sure about...no really not...that she wanted absolutely nothing at all to do with at first. Sawyer had already had lessons for 3 weeks so she was jumping in the water and getting rings off the bottom of the pool and Ruth watched and cried the whole 40 minutes she was in the water. Two days later we were driving to Grandma Evans' house for swim lessons and Ruth was making excuses as to why she shouldn't go in the water. 'I'm tired mom' okay we will have a nap after lessons. 'Nooooooo, lets just swim in ours pool. Maybe Travis is at work...' She cried all the way in, getting the suit and lotion on, all the way out to the pool and did pretty good during her lesson with no crying. Poor Sawyer on the other hand had a scare in the water the day before and she cried for the whole lesson. 3rd lesson was good, Ruth isn't scared of the water anymore and will even voluntarily put her face in to get a ring. We had dinner with Travis and Callie and Callie is going to bring Carter to lessons too. Lesson #4, we get there, and Trav kneels down to say hi to Neil and Ruth gets all nervous and grabs his hand and pulls him saying "No, he not need a lesson, lets go! Trav likes to play with the girls by growling real loud "WARRRR" and they run off screaming and laughing. Trav did it to Sawyer in the pool today to get her to walk hand over hand (or aba daba) faster to the steps. Ruth, who was on the steps, jumped out of the pool when she heard it and took off running. During Ruth's prayers that night she did them all by herself. She did great too, one of the best lines was "and thank you for not being scared no more and doing AAAAAAIRPLAIN" (floating on her back)
During Sacrament that next Sunday Ruth was teaching Rocky how to swim. (her beanie baby rabbit she got for her 2nd b-day, she named it all by herself.)
Yes Ruth has finally got airplane down. in fact she does it so well that now all she wants to do in the pool. Trav has been trying to get her to flip over and kick to the wall and she wont do it. she just floats in the pool crying about having to flip over. Then she will try to psyche herself into doing it and all she ends up doing is power kicking on her back across the pool. Crying of course.
